Celebrity for a day....

Every Sunday I would read the “brunch” (supplement of Hindustan times). The last page of brunch always has a personal agenda column titled “I am what I am” in which a set of questions is asked to a celebrity…the same set of questions. Everytime I would read that column, I would think as to what my answer would have been. Since am sure that no one is ever gonna come to me to fill that column….I thought that I could anyways ask myself those questions…so here goes….

Firstly there is a claim to fame section where a small intro to the celebrity is given.

An overexcited girl in a small package. Total nautanki is what people close to her call her….and she loves it. Born in a defence family, her spirit for adventure and love for water seemed to be obvious and unwavering. She did her post graduation from Mumbai and then moved to a totally new city (Chandigarh) to work. Something that needs a lot of courage…away from friends…away from family. She did it with amazing ease…and has never regretted her decision.

Would you like to be 16 again?
Not really, weren’t my best days! And if I remove my nose ring….I can still pass off as a 16 year old!!

What attracts you in a man?
His sense of humour, his ability to take care of me.

What car do you drive and what would you like to drive?
I don’t own any car yet. I ride a kini…and even that is my dad’s! Some day I would like to own a Santro Xing (red colour). Talk about being ambitious!!

Your most recent purchase and where did you buy it from?
A pair of earrings from Sector 17 market. Priced at 35 bucks…I bargained and got them for 30 bucks...

The outdoor activity you love?
Love anything that’s done outdoors. From adventure stuff like para sailing, trekking to shopping to driving to eating out. Everything!

When you get angry you…?
It is not a one step process for me…I usually start off with showing a lot of sarcasm…then after one hour of probing me to find out the reason for my anger…I finally do the person a huge favour by coming out with the actual reason for my anger. Usually by the time I am out with the reason, it seems really silly and so the next one hour is spent in apologising!! Yeah….Whoever said that women were complex?

You get put off by people when they..?
Act snobbish or think that everyone around them is inferior to them.

A childhood memory that is special to you?
When we were in Vizag, every Sunday my dad used to take my bro and me to the pool where he would throw a stone and my bro and I would dive and retrieve it for him. This was always followed by breakfast in the poolside cafeteria. (yeah, any special memory cannot be complete without food…so u see…main bachpan se aisi thee)!!

If you woke up and found you had turned into a man you would..?
Weird question..I will pass it!

Your first crush?
I was a very shy girl, so for me my first crush was when I was in my 11th std. Lasted for good one month…have lost count after that!

If you could change one thing about yourself what would that be?
I cry verry easily, Would like to change that. Someone just needs to gimme a stern look and I may end up crying.

Your favourite outfit?
Any t-shirt with my cargoes.

What sets your pulse racing?
Smokin joes pizza, pani puri, pav bhaji

Do you pray? If yes, to whom?
I pray everynight before sleeping (length usually increases if there is something special that I want)

The last holiday you went on?
Just took nearly one week off when Suneer came here. Didn’t go anywhere special but we checked out Chandigarh thoroughly.

The best thing that has ever happened to you?
My Sweetheart followed by my job.

What perfume do you wear?
I usually use Adidas deo. Have a bottle of Cristian dior that my bro gifted me once. Only use it for special occasions! (got it about 3 years back, and still have 3/4th of the bottle left....just shows how many special occasions I go to!!!)

What if your partner cheated on you.
That’s one thing I am confident of! Never will that happen.

Two ways in which you have changed in the last 10 years?
Major change. I can’t believe I was actually like that 10 years ago. Have longer hair and a better dressing sense! (I still remember how much fun my bro used to make of my purple jacket dress. He had actually refused to let me tie rakhi to him if I would wear that dress!!)

The one film you can see again and again?
There are lotsa movies that I like…but I cant watch any movie more than thrice!

Three wishes u want a good genie to grant you?
Long life for my close ones.
An unlimited lifetime credit card without any bills.
Happy carefree life.

You don’t believe in?
Spirits, anything supernatural.
